So true. I actually have a particular gift with people that doesn't always come across here for exactly the reasons you stated.

I'm a part-time manager for a collectibles shop located in downtown San Francisco. Needless to say I greet many colorful people from all walks of life, financial situations and tastes. I'm genuine, attentive and great with every single one of them. The rest of my week is spent satisfying a variety of clients in a variety of different artistic capacities. I've even liaised for other fantastic freelance artists who aren't "good with people".

It's so easy on a forum to shoot off without fully reading everything. There's a prickly history at MC that pertains to inside scoops. I like to know where exactly information is coming from. I've had the same questions pointed at me before that I asked of another member. I also believe in an inclusive philosophy. That can't always work, but it's the best place to start. Then, of course, the unintended class warfare began.

I've been around MC for over a decade now and most of my angst stems from the lack of inclusion as it pertains to a variety of areas. I must admit that it would be hard to tell that from the later posts. That leads us to this page. :super:

I figured it couldn't hurt to share my experiences in forum-fare.
Yeah, it happens...but I genuinely do think MC's getting better at handling it. I do!

...I mean compare us with two years ago, and we are a MUCH better behaved bunch of people.

Also, if there's a forum-fair can someone pick me up some candyfloss, a candy apple and a ticket for the dodgeums?

That's a first...
...is *cough* exactly the kind of comment that *ahem* we don't make here at Muppet Central. Which *cough* I assume was the point you were trying to make...

I haven't been here in a couple weeks, so I don't know what this is in reference to, but "Eat The Rich" is a really good Aerosmith song!

Not to rehash, but here's the skinny

In a nutshell: An eager member known for providing inside info pertaining to the new Muppet posers became upset by my inquiries about his capacity with EFX and how much less affluent collectors of MR's line should be considered in the pricing of Rizzo. It is my view that in a perfect world EFX could find a way to offer an SRP that works for a lot of Muppet fans while maintaining a healthy profit margin. Both he and I have stated it wasn't our intention to offend anyone, but posts snowballed into absurdity.

I still believe everyone deserves a voice here no matter the advantages of money, age or background.

That's a first.
Now, now. Play nice folks. If we post this it's a form of trolling a forum to increase the flames of war between members.

I ask everyone that, if someone posts here that you aren't crazy about or who drives you crazy, that you please don't fan the fires of negativity and use your IGNORE buttons.
