I've heard of people using "double stick" tape to put features on a whatnot puppet? What kind of tape are they referring to?

The kind of tape I'm thinking of couldn't hold anything on fur or fleece.

carpet tape is great , you can get it at Home Depot, Toupe tape also works it is used for holding Hair Pieces on, on stage and on Bald gentelman who like using hair peices,

some of the double stick foam tapes work ok, but the foam in them degrades after a while,

Wouldn't an adhesive tape tear the fur or fleece fibers?

Toupe tape is what they used on Crank Yankers. They were all made from Antron Fleece and never had a problem with tearing or not sticking.

Oooh, I used that once. It's good stuff. Buying tape is one of those situations where I've learned (the hard way) that you get what you pay for.
