Does anyone remember any times when Don Music was seen in the actual street plot of the show? I can remember a couple in the 80's. There was an episode in the 80's that was about him and Buster the horse and he sang this song called Flabbergasted, and ended up changing it to Buster's song. Then there was another time I recall him having his Piano outside of Oscar's Trashcan, and he was trying to come up with the perfect Grouch song for Oscar. I remember Oscar being very annoyed in this episode by Don. Also there was the Reopening of Hooper's store when he sang the song called Hooper's Hooper's Hooper's. I believe this was his very last appearance. Can anyone else remember any Don Music street stories from the 70's or 80's?

Oh, yes, I remember that one well. That was one of those street insert skits so it was repeated a lot. The last two lines I think I remember:
DON: I'm calling it "Buster's Song".
BUSTER: (unimpressed) Thanks, I think.

He also appeared in the 20th anniversary special in 1989, first pushing a piano down a street location, then playing the piano for "Sing" at the end.

Don Music!

I certainly remember some Don Music sketches. I mainly recall the songwriting sessions with Kermit  , but I do remember that Flabbergasted song he wrote for Buster. I don't remember the whole scene but I definitely remember Don Music and Buster being there and Don singing, "You'll be so flabbergasted, You'll be so flabbergasted, You'll be so flabbergasted, flabbergasted, flabbergasted!!!"
(I think it repeats after that. I can't remember any more of the song, but I've always remembered that one bit. I used to sing it quite a bit as a child.)
