I believe it was done in the early 90s, and he needed a quill to write the Gettysburg Address. Grover was his assistant, and first, he brought him a drill, and then a chicken named Jill, or something, and then he used a chicken's feather to write the Gettysburg Address.

 Early 90s? I don't think so - Jim was dead by then, so I would guess '87-'88. (Besides, SSetta, you oughta know after watching those tapes you just got from me... )

Gettysburg Address? I don't associate that document with Jefferson. This thread will set the record straight.

It wasn't Jim, it was Richard.

P.S. I haven't watched those tapes, but I plan too.

Yeah, but Richard died in 1992. Incidentally, Abraham Lincoln wrote the Gettysburg Address which was years and years after the American Revolution. Thomas Jefferson (Don Music) was writing the Declaration of Independence.
