Does JHC hate the idea of the action figures?

I've noticed that Piggy looked funny and I've heard that JHC had a lot of say in that figure. So, does the JHC not want figures that look a lot like it's characters? Kermit was dead on and so were a lot of other figures, but Piggy was off as was Gonzo. Why would JHC not want Piggy to look her most Piggyness, or Gonzo's nose it's purplest? It just doesn't make sense because Fozzie is dead on as are many other figures. Why did JHC mess with Piggy and Gonzo?

Piggy was just a mistake they made and have learned from. All upcoming Piggy varients will look a lot better.

What about Gonzo? I've seen many Gonzo products and all have blue noses. Of course the Palisades one was much better than any other, but the nose was still very blue. I was just watching a It's the Muppets and noticed Gonzo was actually not all blue at all. He was Purple and Blue together. Has he gotten bluer over the years, or did the JHC always want to make him blue?

Ken said in his own review of the figures on the Palisades forum that the factory had completely screwed up the paint application on the Gonzo figure, so even in general it doesnt look right. It's got this wierd shiny look that wasn't supposed to be there at all.

Yeah it is shiny and that probably took away from the fur affect. I still like it though. I've heard that Palisades is going with a different factory and I'm glad to hear that.

Well then we can expect that the new Gonzo will look better. I hope Henson has taken the cue about the blue nose. So Muppet Baby. What are they thinkin?
