Its not exactly a thrilling store but I was talking with a friend at work about Spamalot (excellent, by the way) and I mention that Tim Curry is in it.

"Tim Curry?" says my friend Danni, "I just saw him in an excellent movie. I think it was Jersey Girl."
"Tim Curry was in Jersey Girl?" I ask.
"Um, no, wait, maybe it was Mystic River," she continues. "I don't know, it was one of those Oscar winning type movies. I cannot think of the name of it. I think it WAS Jersey Girl. Maybe not."
"Well, what was the movie about?"
"I forget, it was some kind of action film. He played like a hobo. Or maybe it was a pirate."
*a long pause until I finally say the movie that has naturally been in my head this entire time but I didn't want to say* "Muppet Treasure Island?"
"Yeah! That's it!" she says.
"Yeah, see," I explain, "Kermit has actually yet to do a Kevin Smith film, which should have tipped you off."

Well...I mean the similarities between "Jersey Girl" and MTI...you can see where the confusion came in...
