Does anyone cry when they watch Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson?

I think this special is very sad and I always get rather emotional when I watch it especially during the song if Just one Person Believes in You. Not just cause of Jim's death, but because this is the last TV appearance Scooter ever made, and a year later Richard died. It was like Scooter's last time with The Muppets.

I do, especially when they read the letters from the children at the end...and you can see their cute, innocent crooked words and misspellings. And the Muppets themselves get choked up...

Okay, I'm gettin' emotional chills just talkin' about it, I can't watch it and not feel anything!

It is a very emotional special, plus it came out just 6 months after Jim died so at that point people were still grieving over his death, and also surprized. I remember how sad it was to see all the Muppets there without Kermit, but I was surprized and very happy when Kermit came on at the end. I thought wow! it's a miracle! Then at the end when Kermit said, we'll see ya soon with more Muppet Stuff cause that's the way the boss would have wanted it, I cried for joy.

Every single time I've seen it I cry -- its almost unbearable to watch. I have some bad memories about it, too -- it was how I learned Jim died back when I was 5...I took my Kermit to school every day for the rest of the school year (the same one in my avatar).

I don't see how you can't!!! When Robin reads that letter from an apparently very small child that says, "We will miss you Jim Henson. Matt." *sigh*

I always cry during the second verse of "If just one person" when Scooter joins in. Because it's the last time we ever heard Richard sing with the Muppets as Scooter. Then he died.
