Does anybody remember this classic Mumford and Grover skit?

No he didn't grab Mumford wand. What happened was grover was saying something like hoiw neat it was how he made the pineapple disappear by saying ala peanut-butter sandwiches and just by grover saying that poof! Mumford's gone.

Okay so I'm wrong. But I think I must be confusing the actual skit with an old Sesame kids book version of the skit where I'm sure Grover did snatch the wand saying "Maybe Grover could do a little trick. Let Grover try."
I have recollections of some whatnot audience members getting concerned. Grover had been called up on stage from them to count the pineapples for Mumford and they were frightened about what might happen. I can't remember what they were saying among themselves after Mumford disappeared but I'm sure it was a very funny book for children.

I remember a book version where Mumford's trying to make it magically rain on stage, and has to go through just about every other weather situation (including hail) to get to it. Fortuantely Grover came prepared for each situation (snow shovel, fog lantern, etc.). Finally when they get sunshine, they decide to give up and have a picnic, but when one of them (I forget who) accidentally says peanut butter snadwiches, they finally get the rain.
