Can you tell me how to get to SS
As we all know the show Sesame Street was originally designed to be a real street, but at the same time to teach children many basic preschool & kindergarten lessons. In many ways, it still looks like a real street although not as busy as many of the streets I've seen here in NYC. If it really existed as the show claims it to it would have to be a cul-de-sac or dead end, probably in one of the outer boroughs, (incidentally Kaufman Astoria Studios where the show is produced is in Queens, my borough of residence). The old Around the Corner set would probably be somewhere beyond Hooper's Store. Big Bird's nest would probably be at the end of the street where you have to turn around if you want to leave, but then again why would you?
You know I did think of SS as a real street when I was a child, and in a way it could work, so maybe some day I will hop on the A, B, C, 1, 2, or 3 train and go there. (BTW: there is no subway station in NYC where all 6 of those trains meet)
