Disney's plan to relaunch the Muppets

I think any new characters should earn thier place in the front line. I dont think they should be thrown there like Pepe was. I think you need to earn your place in Muppetdom.

I like the idea of a new female character... something I feel the muppets have lacked... maybe something with a more quiet temperment than piggy.

I'd like to see more female characters...{Snip}

That would be great. Actually I would like to see some kind of new original Muppet program performed by all female puppeteers and see if it takes off.

Also I have to comment that the history of TV has been hilarious when we have men portraying women in comedy. Such as Milton Berle, Bob Hope, the Monty Python gang and Muppeteers Frank Oz, Jerry Nelson and Richard Hunt.
There have been some huge laughs when these guys have portrayed female characters.
