I've been waiting for these! I'll look at them in a sec, I hope they don't spoil anything for someone who is due to go to Disneyland in a few months.

Hey great pictures, Byron. Seems like you had a fun time over there. I've only been to WDW once and not at Disney Land at all. However, I've heard that the Disney parks are more designed for kids than for adults unlike the Six Flags parks that are designed for everyone. Any of this true to anyone who has been to the Disney parks and the Six Flags parks?

oh, no! I've been to WDW, Six Flags Over Texas, and Cedar Point, and I just can't say how much better WDW was! Yes, there is Dumbo and such, but it's so much more! Every park has areas that are more 'adult oriented' (but not out of Disney mindset, of course) Epcot especially....oh..how I LOVE to go from country to country!!! (and spend a day in Canada, of course  ) I don't like Six Flags at all...it's all just out there...the grounds are horrible (compared to WDW, of course!) and you'll see something and go 'that was 100x's better the Disney way!' Cedar Point was ok, but the whole point of the park was Roller Coasters...if you wanna stand in line for 3-5 hours apiece, go right ahead....parks like those don't have an 'off season' really, since they're only opened for limited times of the year...at WDW, you can go anytime, and if you pick the right time, you can get on the biggest and newest rides with a 30 minute wait maximum (and usually can walk right on!)

I'm also going to Silver Dollar City this weekend, I'll tell ya how it is

Are you crazy? Disneyland and Disneyworld are excellent for any age! You could be 90 years old and still have fun, even if you couldnt go on any of the rides its still good, theres so much to see. I was there about 10 years ago and loved it, everyone loves disneyland when they are there. Even people who dont like rides or think they are too old end up loving it!

Yeah Ryan, that's the whole reason Walt built Disneyland. He would go to amusement parks with his 2 daughters who would ride the kiddie rides while Walt just sat on a bench, and he mused, "Wouldn't it be nice if there were an amusement park where kids and parents could have fun together?"

And voila, DISNEYLAND was born!!!

Really!

It was!

Okay, Okay!!!!! I was just wondering. Yeesh! I had a friend who went to Walt Disney World a few years ago and he compared it to Six Flags Over Texas and said Six Flags was more entertaining because of all the rides while he felt bored at WDW because it was something he felt like that was for children. He did go through several places, Epcot, Disney World, Universal Studios, etc.

I'm graduating next year from college, maybe i'll go there for a vacation to reward myself for graduating. Sounds like a good reason to me.
