OK then, I differ to ssetta's greater knowledge. Sorry if I got the songs/sketches mixed up, that wasn't my intent.

From the sounds alone, I'd say it was a discotecque (Sp?) scene with a bunch of Muppets dancing and singing with a letter "D".

And Bushman Bill is the D.J. you're thinking about, Count. He's a lavendar live-hand AM with bushy black hair, moustache, and goatee. He wore a leopard-print shirt and gold chains. He had googly eyes (like Harvey Kneeslapper), a round green nose, a tongue, and a row of upper teeth.

Graphic: "Smile."
For JFS: The song "Disco D" was sung on the show and there was an accompanying sketch. There was this DJ character who was at the radio station, introducing the song and the group. He then puts the record on the record player and the camera zooms in through the circular center of the record to the recording group.
The song was sung/recorded by a group of Muppets called Dee Dee O'Day and the Dewdrops. They were all standing in front of this bandstand marked with letter D's and sang the song. At the end, the camera zooms back out the way it came in, through the record's center.

BTW: MuppetDude, if you're reading this, I'd appreciate it if you could give me a descript of the DJ character from this sketch and a suitable name if none exists.
Thanks and have a good day.
The DJ's name was called "Bushman Bill" And the song is called "Be My "D"" :stick_out_tongue:

See ya

Actually the song was called "Be My D"

That's actually a completely different song you're thinking of. That song was called "D-Duah Duah".
