Hello,

I remember that the 2002 special "It's A Muppet Christmas Movie" featured many of the old Muppets like Rowlf, Scooter, the Electric Mayhem, Sam the Eagle, the Swedish Chef, Johnny Fiamma & Sal.

But, we all know that action figures of many of the classic Muppets were made from Palisades, just 'cause everybody knows and loves them. BTW, did the Muppets still feature the old puppets like Rowlf, Scooter, the Electric Mayhem, Sam the Eagle, the Swedish Chef, Johnny Fiamma & Sal?

If you mean "does American TV still show the Muppet Show?" where most of the classic characters originated, the answer is no (I think). I'm actually in Canada, but none of the US channels that we get up here carries the Muppet Show. CTS , a regional Christian broadcaster in Canada will begin showing the Muppet Show this fall. That's the only North American airings that I am aware of.

:grouchy:

Ohhh, I think the Jim Henson Company is getting much worse!!!
I think when the Noggin channel changes, the people of Noggin were forgetting the old, classic Sesame Street and Sesame Street shows from Season 25! Here's what the people of Noggin said:
"Let's focus more on Oobi, the Tweenies, Maisy, Play With Me Sesame and the Season 31 episodes from Sesame Street. Forget Sesame Street Unpaved and Sesame Street episodes from Season 25."
Stupid people of Noggin. What were they thinking?!?

BTW, American TV is never showing The Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, Muppet Babies, Muppets Tonight and Dinosaurs ever again. The Muppet writers want to focus more on Kermit, Fozzie, Piggy, Gonzo, Rizzo, Rowlf, Scooter and alot of others and the writers want to make any new Muppet special or movie!!! That's because everybody loved them! Here's what the writers said, which I believe what's going on:
"Let's focus on our own ideas with Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Rizzo, Rowlf, Scooter, and all of the others. Forget The Muppet Show, Fraggle Rock, Muppet Babies, Muppets Tonight and Dinosaurs."
Stupid Muppet writers! We, MC fans in our American country, believe that The Muppets is getting much worser!

When I watched the Carroll Spinney interview, there are some of the scenes of the NEW Sesame Street from 2002.

I hate the 33-34 seasons of Sesame Street, because it never looked the same as classic Sesame Street and the Sesame Street episodes from 1998-2001! I hate the new opening where Grover flies to the SS lamppost and shows the episode number, and I hate the live-action opening where the blocks became animated and with Big Bird playing with the kids.

The Jim Henson Company in our country is DEAD.

Where are you getting these quotes? Are they real? They seem to have come from the same person. Still don't quite know what you are talking about. There will be two more Muppet (Show) specials. There may also be a future Muppet television program in the works. Also, with the release of so many classic Muppet programs on DVD, I think it's likely we'll see some more of it. Maybe with the Fraggles. The Henson Company will probably pen a deal with a cable channel to release old eps of FR and TMS. I'm certain they want to start making some money off their classic stock of prorgrams. The sale has officially gone through so I'd expect changes in the coming year.
