Sam and Friends BookRemember that old game-show sketch "Dialing For Prizes Movie" with Guy Smiley? It was used on SSU#666 and it was used on two SS episodes from Season 25-#3200 and #3244!
The only lucky word, beginning with the letter 'F' was 'FUR'. Was that game-show sketch sponsored by the letter 'F'? It was used on #666, but the sponsors were E-2 and when it was used on #3200, it was between "F For Fly & Frog" (Casey Kasem) and 'f-football' animation. When it was used on #3244, it was between Consonant Sound Limerick-F, Face and f-flea circus animation.
Guy Smiley shows us a clip of the black-and-white footage movie (which it features music from the live-action sketch where Linda and Luis build a train tunnel, which was used on SSU#1041) and calls one of the today's people on the phone-Mr. Lucky. Mr. Lucky knows the lucky 'F' word 'FUR' and won a whole bunch of furry monsters! (Herry as an anonymous monster, Frazzle (Frank Oz???), a scary purple AM monster with no nose, and a scary green monster with a bird's beak).
In conclusion of this segment, Mr. Lucky ran quickly into the game show and spoke to Guy in a hurry, "Mr. Smiley, I've come to return all of those monsters." but Guy said "You can't take them back to me, they're yours!" So the monsters chased Mr. Lucky all around the studio.
Wouldn't be a great idea if "Dialing For Prizes Movie" would be Guy Smiley's segment series instead of just 'FUR'?
