What's with the part in Muppet Family Christmas being cut out? You know, the part where Fozzie talks with the snowman outside. I saw it when I was younger but on the video it's no where to be seen. Why is it cut??

I read the article from Tough Pigs last night. It was really cool. I wish that they had kept the scenes with Statler and Waldorf in the movie. I think they would have been very funny. I also think it would have been great if they kept the part when Robin comes out of the glove compartment and states that it is his favorite part of the movie. It was a really great article. Thanks again, Matleo! I wonder if there is a similar article about the other Muppet movies...
I agree with that. Statler and Waldorf didn't get too much airtime in MFS. I wish they would have shown those extra scenes.

Are they ever going to release a DVD for the Muppet family Christmas that is uncut? I remember watching the special every year at Christmas on tv and I was so disappointed when I got the DVD and some scenes were missing.

That would be one of the "Here we go again" questions. We ALL want to know this one, and I doubt we'll find any answers. This is like the numerous newbies asking if Fraggle Rock is on DVD yet (not in America, just France is what we always say). Oh well... plans may be unvailed, or they may nto, I don't know, and I don't think any of us do...
