A friend of mine on YouTube wrote to ask whether anyone else remembers a folk band called Deadly Nightshade appearing on Sesame Street during the 80s or 90s. If you do, do any of you have clips of those appearances? (My friend mentioned that they performed a version of the "Old McDonald" song on the show, among others.) This is the first time I've heard of this band, so I'm just relaying the question...many thanks!

Hi- Yes, they were on the show, both in "street scene" footage and in the "Old MacDonald" film. That was in the late 1970s, but they did show some of the clips into the early 1980s.

Courtesy of sawing14s, here is "Keep on the Sunny Side", which was also available on one of their old albums.
