it was 1 of those off-street segments. David's pretending to be a postman and he opens the mailbox witch is built into a wall. all this mail comes out where it ends up in a pile up to his waste. Jerry Nelson who's annoucing for the segment says but that's a lot of mail. how are you going to get it to the post office? so David opens up the mailbox and it all goes back in, then David pulls it out of the wall and off he goes.

Since the Classic SS section has been quiet I thought I'd revive this 1 for those 2 didn't see it first time around.

I remember this. IIRC, Jerry was doing a sort of Len Maxwell impression, as he was describing the action. I also remembeer the videotape being sped up as the mail came out of the slot.

HAHAHA! It sounds great. Man, I had to be a child of the late '80s and miss all the good stuff.
