The characters look more like classic elves than Dark Crystal gelflings. It's the people noses. The art is more attractive than I remember. Very strong line art. It still makes me long for the new Brian Froud led comics that would hopefully get it all right. All the unique gelfling qualities have been flattened out to fit a gamer type of avatar.
