I like the idea of a black tux Lew and of a new Scooter. And I also think that a new Zoot is neccessary because, although I have one, many Muppet fans have been left with incomplete Electric Mayhem bands. However, I was happy with the series 3 Rowlf and after the backstage regular Rowlf, I dont think there will be much demand for another tux Rowlf. Maybe Palisades will consider replacing Rowlf for a new classic Miss Piggy figure as the fourth figure. Although that is just really wishful thinking, she is the reissue figure that I would really like.

There seem to be a lot of people without the Tux Rowlf, not sure about the demand now there will be a naked one though. I agree that releasing him with an upright would be a genius sales move though, everyone would buy it regardless. I would support a new Scooter but then we are talking lots of money and i would guess part of the point in doing this is them not having to spend that.

I think the point in doing it is to get people the figures. I'm sure they could do one new figure. HEck, Super Beaker is all new and he was just a convention thing.

Rowlf with an upright would be the way to go as would the new head. Zoot could be left untouched and just add some new thing.

Yeah i guess the only way to move a re-released Scooter to more than the newcomers would be to do him in a better scale if they didn't have to do much to the rest of the figures. I'm sure they would be thinking about sales and budget in this as well as the fans, sounds like they might use re-releases to balance out the cost of doing new stuff in Palisades Direct next year.

Personally, I think it would be better if they just re-released the figures w/o alterations. But that's just me. I know a lot of people would probably get upset because the ones that came out earlier wouldn't have as much value or something. I really wouldn't care. I have all of Series 3 besides Zoot and I think it would make me more happy than angry to see people being able to get the Kitchen w/ Chef, and Scooter, Rowlf, and Lew Zealand

On the palisades board I started a thread like this one. Here. One of the creators stated that they have spoken about it and that the re-release would have a different card (mentioned something about it being blue). I think that's the cheapest way of them re-releasing these while still maintaining the value of the first release.

It's the only way to release them again without people that have the first series getting angry. If you just paid 150 for a Zoot on Ebay and found out the exact same Zoot is being released again for 12 bucks, you would be EXTREMELY angry with the company because your Zoot just droppedin value by 138 dollars.

Palisades isn't concerned about value because it effects them, they are concerned because it effects their customers. They don't get any money from Ebay sales.

I doubt the kitchen would be released again. He already had two runs. Their is n reason for a collector's not to have the kitchen by now. YOu can still find him for 10 bucks at Target.

Now that, I'd be angry about. But not necessarily at Palisades but that I spent that much money, then again, I doubt I would really spend that much for an action figure (unless I had oodles of cash to throw around, lol)
