Hello everyone, I have been browsing this forum for a long time, but never posted. This place is very helpful; I have learned a great deal to help improve my puppets.

But now I have a question I cannot find anywhere else on this forum (I apologize if it is out there somewhere) but I have heard it said that one should take a clear plastic ornament and cut down to size before painting to make a puppet eye. But how should it be cut?
No matter which way I try, the ornament just cracks.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
