What did you use to make the eye mech plate? Is that Cintra? Styrene?

Right on the Money!

Awesome work! Gives me a lot of ideas for the eyeglasses on my character... You're definately building some extremely high quality puppets.

The skull and the eyelids are vacuum-formed styrene. First, the inside of the foam head was cast in plastic. Then that cast was used as a positive mold for the vacuum forming. This made it possible to create a plastic skull that fit perfectly inside the foam puppet head.

I was just curious, how did you make that eye effects?
Here are some pics of the "insides", Muppet Pro.

That was a great custom puppet! Brings back those old Michael Jordan and Spike Lee Nike commercials. Wow, great work!

Thanks for the info. If you don't mind me asking, what plastic did you use to cast the inside of the foam head?

That one you'll have to figure out on your own. But I can tell you that it's really not too difficult to find.
