Ooh, you're good... But how about the scene where they make a ladder out of what ever will hold them? I'm sure you can do it just by laying the figures down on their backs, and then photoing Dr.Teeth, Chef, and Lips and two chickens afterwards.
In other frames of the movie, you can see different numbers of Muppets and they sometimes change positions. Beaker is standing just off to the left, he's visible through the unbroken glass on that side when the camera pans down. Animal must be off to the right, because he will appear there when they're going to start lowering themselves down. Zoot must be with him.
And Scooter seems to be next to Dr.Teeth or at least near him, as he shuffles his legs into view afterwards. Pops is somewhere, but you don't see him until they all enter the gallery...

An interesting note. Rowlf shoves Lew out of the way, and then proceeds to hang onto Gonzo's feet, who then proceeds to hang from Fozzie and Kermit. Gonzo's been eating his weaties to hold up Big Ol Rowlf. But then again, Janice somehow dangles Animal by one arm. Strong girl she is.

AWESOME!

You know, GMC provides a lot of great scenes that you could do with your figures. I'd like to see more shots of the Happiness Hotel number, myself. Plus, when Beau runs the Taxi into the hotel, Fozzie talking about Kermit's date, everyone breaking into the restroom when Gonzo's looking at photos, the bed-flipping scene with everyone's legs showing, and when the Muppets are climbing up the side of the wall trying to evade the guard dogs. OH! And if you had enough funny nose glasses, you could do everyone arriving at the Mallory Gallery.

The Muppets Take Manhattan has a few good ones as well. Like when they're all living in the lockers, eating at Pete's, trying to find Kermit, and maybe some more postcard scenes. (Loved the Scooter one, btw). But hey, I'm just offering some ideas.

Ooh, or maybe something with Rizzo in the kitchen. (Unless you did that already, I keep losing track of some of these more popular threads)

Well, I've dug into my photo archives to see what pre-construction research I've done for Happiness Hotel.

Here's a nice empty shot of the corridor off the lobby:

But for the most part, the Hotel always seems to be full of characters, and the camera is always moving, so it's hard to get usable shots.

Here's a shot that I pasted together from two frames when the camera whip-pans up on "Somebody's checking in!" ...
http://threads.rebelscum.com/imagep...hp?file=162693&imagewidth=826&imageheight=768

That shot illustrates another problem... if there are Muppets in the shot, then we probably won't see anything below their waists. And that means the bottom couple of inches of the action figures have nothing to stand before.

I was able to cheat this on a lot of my Muppet Show backdrops, because especially in the first couple of seasons, they used a locked camera and those flat backdrops. So that meant I could make little 'flats' that store easily.

If the camera is moving, it's a lot harder to find usable frames to piece together to reconstruct an empty background.

I guess it means the Happiness Hotel is gonna have to be a huge dollhouse construction with real walls, floors, doorways, stairs.

Besides, I still haven't customized a photog Gonzo figure yet, and my GMC trenchcoat Kermit needs a better coat of paint.

Speaking of Gonzo being a photographer, here's a frame I grabbed to print out on clear arylic as a possible accessory:

Now, if you already have that frame imported to your photo-editing software, you may as well convert it to greyscale and flip it from negative to positive, right?

And that's when you know you're really obsessed with the Muppets, because you instantly realize that Nicky is facing the wrong way from that same moment earlier in the film:

Little continuity error here. Obviously, they staged it once for the still camera and then when they actually filmed it with the movie camera, everyone's in a slightly different pose. One male extra even seems to have disappeared altogether!

(what the printed photo would have resembled)

(assembled from two frames where Fozzie was in different positions)

I wonder what the rest of that sign on the door says... no WHAT after 6pm?

You know what?

I swear that almost look like it says "No elephants in your room after 6pm."

Yeah, I loved the part about "and do not tip the rats."

So Fozzie wasn't being a skinflint after all. Just upholding the hotel rules.
