And who knew that was an image that one couldn't simply google and print the poster? yet you make it perfect and without your "making of" story on the rebelscum forum, I would have no idea of the work you put into it.
Yeah, I tend to treat my threads over at RS as the documentaries, and the ones here are the features.

The story that j3h is referencing is, to make the mini-poster of One Million B.C. just like the one seen backstage in the Raquel Welch episode, the only image that I could find online was a British Quad double-feature with 'She' starring Ursula Andress...

... which I then had to crop and retouch...

The funny thing was, I had thought about capturing the frames showing the poster from the episode and printing that, but convinced myself that finding the original poster online would be 'easier'.

True, retouching the Quad gave me a much more crisp image because it was so much larger, but it took me about an hour and a half longer than I had expected.

Finally finished my custom commission of Miss Piggy in the dress she wears at the Dubonnet Club in GMC...

Those are real feathers on the frill around her neck and the hem of the dress. The skirt is felt, and the 'sequins' are in reality more than 200 craft jewels meticulously glued into place with tweezers.

You can't see it once she was reassembled, but she even has glittery stockings and translucent shoes, as seen in this older work-in-progress pic:

Tomorrow she's being mailed home to her buyer in NY... but for tonight, she's Steppin' Out!

Do all four of those links work? They just seem to open blank white pages for me.

Thanks for always checking in on this thread, Lamango.

Now that Piggy is done, I'm about to start some Link Hogthrob customs... one is a commission, one is a clone of the commission for myself, and the third is a second design, just for me.

I'll also probably revisit the Dubonnet Piggy for myself someday. It's going to be hard to see her go.

I am also finishing up a GIANT diorama so expect pics of that very soon.

And after that, I have another big diorama that I want to tackle.

And then... well... not enough hours in the day.

Dearth, your work never ceases to amaze.
Great as always.
If you don't mind my asking, how much do you charge for custom jobs?

Dearth, I know, you've had her for a long time, but she will have a wonderful home. I can't wait to see those dioramas! Very excited...sitting on the edge of my seat! :embarrassed:

Couple of extra pics of Piggy in proper Great Muppet Caper surroundings...

This is an alternate 'what if?' scene from Great Muppet Caper, where the real Lady Holliday's jewels don't get stolen, and the fake Lady Holliday gets to continue her date with Kermit.

Kermit's twin brother Fozzie expresses amazement that he got her to come back to the Happiness Hotel with them.

"Lady Holliday" whirls on Fozzie and says he needs to find somewhere else to stay. Photos by Gonzo.
