Does anyone remember this classic skit from the 70s?

A black and white cow was walking around the countryside trying to find a home. She tried to climb up a tree and a bird shouted at her. "Birds live in trees, not cows!" So the cow tried to find something else. She tried sticking her nose underground, until a worm popped out and complained that cows don't live underground. Then the cow appeared on Sesame Street and tried to get into Oscar's trash can. She goes, "It sure is dark down there and, YUCK, trash!" and an angry Oscar pops out and tells her to scram. Then the cow returns to the country and finds a barn. Gladys the Cow comes out and invites her to stay and so the black and white cow finally found a home.

Even though it was from the 70s, probably early in the decade, I recall seeing it once probably around 1980 though I couldn't remember how it ended though I prety much remember most of it how you discribed it. Kind of a strange and sad skit. Somebody without a home.

The cow recited the following line at the beginning of his marching sequences:

"Oh show me the way to go home"

At the end, Gladys said to the lost cow "Well you've come to the right place". After they both disappeared into the barn, we heard 10-20 seconds of enthusiastic "Mooooo!... Moooooo! from behind the closed door.

The farmer must've been mighty pleased to suddenly have an extra head of cattle in his possession.

I remember that song the cow sang and I also remember the bell around her neck clanging along the way.
