Covering eyes

How do you cover half a ping pong ball with antron fleece? I notice this is a technique a lot of you guys use for the eyes and it looks really neat.

When i made eric, i cut the pingpong-balls in half and covered (glued) one half in fleece, and tucked some exess inside of the ball. Then i glued the ball back together and put a strip of black craft-foam as eyeliner. Hope this helps.
