I kinda figured she was gonna say something about this. Of course we all know she's ten kinds of crazy and the dictionary example of a "hot mess"! I posted this web address below that sort of sums up her relationship with Dave Grohl. It's an interesting read and easily clears up why she said what she did. I personally feel that Kurt Cobain would have been thrilled that the Muppets used his song.

Yeah... she sounds like a completely terrible person. Really... just all and all completely bad. Terrible musician. Even Yoko didn't screw up the Beatles a tenth of as much as she screwed up Nirvana.

...She's aware of Weird Al and Cobain's positive feelings towards him and his parodies of Nirvana's songs, right? Weird.

"Terrible person"? Really? I mean, I don't agree with her, but that's about as extreme an accusation as she made.

What's extreme about calling someone who cashes in off a dead celebrity terrible? The grudge she holds with Dave Grohl here and the reasons for it have me say nothing to the contrary. I'm not sure I'd completely pin Kurt's drug use on her, but there is a very strong case for it. Even though there are stories about scoliosis and pain killers... She sold the music rights for whatever reason, and it's out of her hands and having the gaul to complain about it? Especially, like I said, Elvis's family had a much bigger problem with the Viagra commercials, and that was far more a valid complaint.

I'm saying that calling someone "a completely terrible person" and "just all and all completely bad" when you don't know them is extreme.
