Does anyone know if cookie monsters pattern is one solid piece. Or is the head seperate from the body?
ANyone know if his head is hollowor lined with sheet foam?

well I finished the proto type cookie monster puppet. It came out pretty good. I have to tweak some corners and enlarge some areas but I like it.

Now if I only had some blue shag fur I could make the next trial.

Does anyone know how to make the google eyes cookie has? labrat, puppetmancan jarro-keeermit?

really cant wait to see how it turns out.

I made a replica myself. I used size 55mm ping pong balls, which i had to order online. I used a black foam sheet bought at wal-mart. I think it was only 20-25 cents. I used something to trace a circle with a blade, then i cut it outI used a pin, which i painted black, to attach the 2. I made the foams hole for the pin loose so the eyes would swing around then pin.

This is the cookie monster prototype I made. Pretty good for a first draft I think.

Probably best to find white shaggy fur and dye it dark blue.Most muppets are made with a seperate head pattern, but I dont know with Cookie.Doesnt look like he has any foam interior as the material looks very free and flowing.

i used some foam in the head of mine. i dont have a photo bucket account... and not to sound selfish but i'm not about to send out my myspace since its set on private.

Other then the Oscar, which other SS characters from that photo did you make?

I added the googley eyes with the pin idea, it worked great!

I only made cookie and the snake in the can with oscar.
