:search:Wondering if anyone out there has any info on a Muppet I have in my collection. I live in the Chicagoland area and was lucky enough to find this old kangaroo puppet at a garage sale. It looked so much like a Henson piece and when I picked it up, sure enough it had a "Jim Henson Muppet Puppet" tag. No date, but it does have the Knickerbocker toy company info on the flip side of the cloth tag. It is really cool, looks like something straight out of Emmet Otter. Even came with a separate baby kangaroo finger puppet in the pouch. From what I've been able to find, I believe these were giveaways at Continental Banks around 1965... but really I haven't been able to find much on this...figured this is the place to go for info!

I have seen it on ebay a couple of times, but as it didnt look like a muppet style character, I just thought that someone might of sewn a muppet tag on it.

I have TWO of these and they are extremely rare. One of them I grew up with. It is very "loved on" and tattered. It is definitely a Jim Henson muppet puppet and I've yet to find it listed on any web site.

The other was found in brand new condition on eBay back in 2003.

It's interesting that not one fan site has this muppet listed on it. It's like "the forgotten muppet"

I've attached two photos of this muppet for your enjoyment.
