A friend of mine and I made three puppet tests last night. I ended up posting two of them to youtube here:

The third, however is a little on the mature side (we lip-synched to a song with some explicit lyrics) and is funny in its own right. My question is should I post the third video with a warning, post it as a invitation-only video or not at all?

I already commented on your videos in the 10 sec. thread But here it goes:

To be honest I hadn't even noticed atfirst. I don't think YouTube minds this type of content. But as for refering people to it with a warning. I think this is a pretty harmless song. Kids will probably be too distracted by what's going on in the background anyway. And your comic also has some explicit content sometimes right? I think you shouldn't worry too much about it.

Like I said really cool stuff there.

If you're not offended by it (and I assume you aren't since you recorded it), then post it. Other people will decide for themselves if they are offended by it.

Well, I think having Justin Timberlake rip off Ralph's top to reveal Ralph's nipple might have been a bit much for some.

watch your puppet's height. Have them to come up about an inch or so. Lip synch needs some work too. Other than that, it was pretty enjoyable.

The first two were good, but i like the last one the best. Need more puppet body on screen. You were to low in the frame.

The actual question, though was about content. We actually did three camera tests: The first and third are on the site already, The second was a Kanye West song that had him saying the "N" word a couple of times. Unfortunately, it also features some of the best puppetry we did that day.

I'm sort of on the fence about posting it because it's the kind of thing that could bite me later, so I guess that sort of answers my question whether I should post it or not.

I personally don't see a problem with posting it. If I were you I would have a warning about inappropriate lyrics and note that it is a song by rap artist Kanye West.

If you have an image to uphold (e.g. You only do children's entertainment) then you might want to think about the pros and cons of the move.

Just my 2 cents.
