What really bothers me is that I don't think people want to give him a chance at all. His stimulus plan calls for slow growth, the only way something long lasting will work is if it's slow and steady.
I agree with that. I think his plan is well intended, but I just do not think it will benefit in the long run.

Give someone else a turn.
I agree, and I think that should be told to both the Republicans and the Democrats. We've traded off with them again and again over the years and no matter which one is in power, we keep settling for and getting the same old thing.

Well, the thing that kills me is that people wanna go and say "Buy American" but yet, these foreign automakers have plants in the United States. So, if you buy American, and bankrupt all these foreign companies, what country do you think will get the job cuts first? The foreign ones, or the American ones? It's cheaper to have foreign jobs than American jobs. Sad to say, but it's true. Also, if you haven't heard, there are no American cars in the top 21 cars in America by some magazine or something, and we're bailing them out, so yeah, god bless america.

I think that's both the car companies' fault as well as the American Public's. Sure, American cars aren't as well engineered than the Foreign ones.... but the real thing that caused the American Auto crash was the heavy investment in SUV's... and when gas hit 5 bucks a gallon, interest crashed completely. But then again, the SUV was a pretty stupid idea anyway. Sure, there are people who need it, but they make up like 10 percent of SUV owners. Considering it was unforseen the gas would go that high, no wonder why they weren't prepared.

Of course, let's not forget that everything from this country is made in China, Mexico, and other places in the world that AREN'T the US. Outsourcing killed u... considering that China has most of our jobs, causing a huge trade gap, AND that we owe them plenty for deficit war spending, China owns our souls. Remember how everyone was calling Obama a "Socialist?" We're owe everything to a socialist nation. And a dictatorship at that.

That's why the government has been so hypocritical complaining about Obama's so called "Socialism." We're already involved with a troublesome government just to keep up with big business.

My Grandpa considered himself a Socalist btw, lol. He took his sons to see a workers strike at a White Castle! There's good points and questionable points, just like any other form of government.

Does anyone else think that maybe the Muppets would actually make BETTER politicians than most people in Washington!

I can just see Cookie Monster holding a Press Conference. "C is for Cookie. Any questions?"
