I am looking for a film (80-s?) were characters of Sesame Street and maybe also some of the Muppets played in.

I don't know the name, story line etc. I only know that there was a young boy involved and the Sesame Street characters helped him find his parents and at the end he climbed stairs that went unto the sky.

I know its sounds very vague but I am looking for this movie for some years know and can't seem to find it or its name

Hope this sounds familiar to anybody!

Thanks

What you are looking for is the Sesame Street special called:

Don't Eat The Pictures: Sesame Street at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
