After seeing various classic cartoon characters on TV commercials, I thought maybe certain Nickelodeon cartoon characters could appear on TV commercials as well, if the companies had permission from Nickelodeon. Here are some examples:
SpongeBob SquarePants:
StarKist
Vlasic

Fairly Oddparents:
Kraft Singles
Keebler

CatDog:
Any cat or dog food commercials
Does anybody have any ideas for commercials with Nickelodeon characters?

How come Nickelodeon characters have not appeared in TV commercials the way classic cartoon characters have?

Was it as part of a promotion or was it just an ordinary commercial?

Did you hear about that big PSA to the tune of "We Are Family" that's going to be distributed and shown in schools in March? It's going to feature dozens of characters from popular kids' TV shows, including Sesame Street, Spongebob Squarepants, The Book of Pooh and many others. Looks interesting, though it's drawn fire from James Dobson for supposedly promoting a gay agenda. I find it hard to believe a music video about tolerance by kids' show characters can be too offensive...

Maybe SpongeBob could appear on a Charmin commercial showing that Charmin toilet paper is, "more absorbent that the famous yellow sponge for sure".

I am a Christian and if you havent heard it already I will let you know. JAMES DOBSON IS AN IDIOT. He looks way too far into things and only investigates from a point of view that will benefit him. Basically he talks out of his ***. Sorry about my language but that man truly upsets me.
