Gaw... if Kids Next Door was made in the 80's, the diversity would be forced and the kids would all get along and act like the Buddy bears and have forced Cliched personalities. Ever see that pink Panther and Sons show? I saw one episode a few weeks back and I was mortified! Get Along Gang and all that stuff, man. They'd NEVER be as anarchistic or rebellious until they did a forced anti-Drugs episode.

I'd hate to see anyone take KND so seriously, since it's clearly a satire of 10 year old kid collective behavior and psychology (sort of like Recess, only taken to an extreme). And of course we can't forget that there are a good number of times where the agents' parents come to the rescue... like the episode about the common cold.

That is true. The KND do love and respect their parents a whole lot. And it turned out Numbuh 1's Dad was once the greatest KND operative of all, Numbuh Zero. And Numbuh 1 did find a friend in Vin Moosk the Tie Hunter saying he was the coolest adult he ever met.

And I was thinking if KND were made in the 80's, the network would probably make a famous child star the main character calling it Gary Coleman and the KND or Ricky Schroeder and the KND, just to get people to watch it.

UGH! You just opened up a whole lot of nightmarish possibilities they could have gone with.

If course, I'd expect a KND show to turn into some sort of ripoff of the Goonies as well.
