Quietly, women seem to be making great strides in the arts. The leading photographers seem to be young women, not men. (If I am wrong, just let me know!)
Clever, unusual, beautiful, their work is re-imagining everything -they seem to be able to look closely without closing us in. What does it mean to be a girl, a woman? What does it mean to be alive and faced with an entire world? They are not afraid to ask.
