Classic SS Episodes on DVD

When I asked them when are they going to release classic sesame street episodes on DVD,They said to me:The message could not be delivered because you do not have create permissions on this folder or it is only available to folder owners at this time.

will you be releasing Classic Seasme Street Skits on DVD?

Thank you for you intrest in Sesame Street DVD. Unfortunelly, there are no current plans to release and classic skits onto DVD.

I almost wonder sometimes if it isn't a matter of pride.... Most of the people working on the current show were not part of the crew of the original show. They are overshadowed by the creative giants of the early years (Henson, Oz, Raposo, Moss, etc.) and often criticized by "old-time" fans. Maybe they aren't too keen on releasing old episodes on DVD because they don't want to invite comparisons to the old format and would rather dismiss it as "outdated".
