5 There's a character on my list identified as "Solid Citizen Lady, The Amazing Mumford's Assistant (SS)".
What I'm wondering is, does this character exist?
It's just that every time I see a Mumford sketch on these tapes, it's Grover who runs up to assist.
If she does not exist, then please LMK so she can be eliminated.
Or should she remain as an entry in the list?
She does exist in a 1970 sketch where Mumford demonstrates surprise.

FUrthermore, Bob then reads the story of The Turtle Who Wanted to Make Friends.
There's a turtle here voiced by Jim Henson named Shelly.
Is it spelled "S-H-E-L-L-Y" or "S-H-E-L-L-E-Y"?
How does this turtle differ from the entry already listed as Sheldon the Turtle?
And should Shelly/Shelley be added?

If "Sheldon" in your list is the Marty Robinson character, then I'd say that they are one and the same. I guess Marty adopted the character from him. And most of the time, he's referred to as "Shelly". However, I never saw the segment (yet!), but it sounds like they're the same Muppet.
I remember Richard Hunt Playing Slelldon at least from the late 80's to the early 90's

3) Regarding the characters at Hooper's sStore with David (called Dustin in that one episode alone) and the AM family...

You keep comin' with the "too obscure" argument, and I'll keep counterin' with the "completeness" angle.
If we left out the too obscures and obscures and alike, this thing wouldn't be nearly as polished as it stands on my master diskette.

True, but it's very difficult to come up with a good name for these characters, and there have literally been hundreds of AMs that pop up for just one scene. Those characters don't have enough to be identified with a personality or characteristic, and are hard to name based on one appearance.

However, you could list them as:
AM Hooper Store Patron #1 (SS, from show 2256)
AM Hooper Store Patron #2 (SS, from show 2256)

...that may be a solution to the "obscure" characters!

Now that we've got it straightened out:

1 From The Ballad of Casey McPhee.
Should "The Engineers" be added?
Should "The Cows" be added?

Sure.

2 The Citizens of Candy Cane Lane.
Yeah... Could use that...
But my instincts tell me different, since there were the main duo Oscar approached.
And then the additional passers-by.
The Citizens of Candy Cane Lane could, in my opinion, serve best as a group subheading with each member individually listed therein. So, if that helps, how should each Candy Cane Lane citizen be added?

As a group, they could be counted as "Man", "Lady", "Young Man", etc. I'll have to check the episode to see who's there.

3 The AM Family seen in Episode 2269.
First of all, it wouldn't be "Fat Blue's" family. "Fat Blue" isn't a character name, but rather an AM type designation. And secondly, Mr. Johnson as he's properly known is voiced by Jerry whereas this character in question was voiced by Jim.
The son, if named Charlie, would look odd all by his lonesome if we discount the father as Mr. Johnson (which we know he isn't) and his mom and sister.
So, how would it be best to add this group of characters?

The best way I think of it is that Fat Blue is sort of like the first season Miss Piggy; he's played by whoever is available, so it's the same character, but different performers.

Plus, the "Mr. Johnson" group would also count Charlie and Uncle Louie, but then there's the whole situation of Simon Soundman.

4) The Shark (SS).
Will remain as listed with no added denominational tag.
Just thought I'd ask, since this one sounded to have a different voice than the one in Bert and Ernie's Fishing Trip.

I think of it as the same situation as previously stated.

6) From the sketch hosted by Guy Smiley known as "Here is Your Life, Sneaker!"
The pair of legs, presumably the sneaker's owner...
Is her name spelled "Little Lizzy Hammertoe" or "Hammertoes"?

It's Hammertoe. And here are a few spelling corrections (as seen in the "Unpaved" book):

Rita R-U-C-C-I
G-Y-R-O S-P-I-N-N-I-A-P-O-L-I-S

As for Minor Muppets question: What happens in the "wanna see something funny?" sketch?

Harvey planned to ask someone if they wanted to see something funny in his mirror, and asked Fat Blue; upon seeing his reflection, he found nothing funny. Confused, Harvey looked at the mirror.

FB: "Now THAT's funny! Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!"

Thanks pal... Will have to wait till I get home, don't have my diskette with me...
But I believe I have "Hammertoe", "Rucci", and "Gyro Spinniapolis" as you denoted above correctly.
Will wait till you can check 2269 for the Candy Cane Lane citizens, just LMK by replying here ASAP.
I like the idea of Hooper's Store Patron #1 and #2 respectively, with the episode number afterwards. That's how I have a couple of entries already.
Who's "Uncle Louie"? Never heard of him before.

Hope to hear from you guys soon and have a good day.

Uncle Louie was in a sketch where Charlie couldn't identify his uncle because he was dressed in his policeman's uniform.

P.S.: Nice quote.

Bumping this thread up. Why? Couple of reasons.
1 So others may find it easier, and I hope to get my questions from the first three cassettes of episodes answered whenever MuppetDude and my other trusted sources come back from winter break.
2 Got the next two cassettes, will have to go through them and pick out all the characters I might have questions/doubts on whether or not adding them to the list before perfecting V16 for posting.

Hope this helps and have a good weekend.

OK... Seeing as how some of my sources might be lurking about... Here are some questions from the episodes on video cassette I have that still need answering, to see whether new additions are made to the master list.

Episode 2277.
1 Who was the female AM in charge of the set, who counted down from 5 when TellyVision came back from "commercials"? Should she be added? If so, under what entry heading/name?
Episode 2367.
2 There was a well-done alphabet operetta in this episode. Who performed this song?
Should they be added? If so, under what entry heading/name?
3 In a segment, Gordon and Linda were waiting for their bus after the previous one already left.
Snuffy then shows up and takes them to the Snuffle-Bus Stop.
The SnuffleUp-a-Bus Driver, should this character be added?
Should the rest of the Snuffle class on that bus be added also?
4 There was a sketch here and in 2277 about Luis and María, and then Bob stranded on a desert island.
They eventually got back after taking Bob's paddles to the ends of the island and rowing it back.
Should these be added? If so, under what entry heading/name?
Episode 2407.
5 Professor D. Rabbit, is this his correct name?
Should he be added? Showed up to help Mumford with pulling a rabbit out of his hat.
6 The Sesame Street Cooking Choir, came in at the end of Don Music's stint when trying to add some mood music at Hooper's Store. Should these be added?
7 Sam, this was a guy who danced with Gina I think. Their boombox shorted out, and Hoots came by to provide some sax music so they could keep dancing.
Should he be added?
8 Tanya, this was a girl who talked about "HELP" with Grover, relieving him of holding up the sign with the word itself. Should she be added?

Got more, but let's work on these for the time being. Thanks, hope to hear from you guys soon.

Glad that you recapped the list, Count. It makes it much easier.

Episode 2277.
1 Who was the female AM in charge of the set, who counted down from 5 when TellyVision came back from "commercials"? Should she be added? If so, under what entry heading/name?

She was a fat blue AM with a green nose, sleepy eyes, and black hair. Maybe you could call her the "Telly Vision" Director. There was also the "Telly Vision" Cameraman; a lavendar live-hand AM with a long pink nose, sleepy eyes, and curly black hair.

Episode 2367.
2 There was a well-done alphabet operetta in this episode. Who performed this song?
Should they be added? If so, under what entry heading/name?

That was Judy Collins and Snuffy (maybe; it could've been an imaginary sequence from one of the shows from the 1970s, or another Snuffleupagus entirely that sounds like Snuffy).

The bus and the Snuffleupaguses (who were partially cut off-screen) looked like a drawing superimposed over the set. They may be counted.

4 There was a sketch here and in 2277 about Luis and María, and then Bob stranded on a desert island.
They eventually got back after taking Bob's paddles to the ends of the island and rowing it back.
Should these be added? If so, under what entry heading/name?

Probably not. I'm not sure.

Episode 2407.
5 Professor D. Rabbit, is this his correct name?
Should he be added? Showed up to help Mumford with pulling a rabbit out of his hat.

He was a new SS puppet; a lavendar live-hand puppet with an orange nose, thinning white hair and moustache, buck teeth, moving eyelids, and tan clothing (coat, vest, etc.)

6 The Sesame Street Cooking Choir, came in at the end of Don Music's stint when trying to add some mood music at Hooper's Store. Should these be added?

Sure. They were a group of kids wearing aprons and chef's hats.

7 Sam, this was a guy who danced with Gina I think. Their boombox shorted out, and Hoots came by to provide some sax music so they could keep dancing.
Should he be added?

Sure.

8 Tanya, this was a girl who talked about "HELP" with Grover, relieving him of holding up the sign with the word itself. Should she be added?

She wasn't seen on the set (at least I never seen her there).

OK, thanks... Some more questions...
Someone else, maybe TSF said that Tanya should be added. Just looking for some sort of help in deciding "Yes" or "No" in terms of adding her.
You said the Snuffleupagus class and bus driver should or might be added. How would you propose they be added?
Sam, you said he should be added. Any ideas who portrayed this character?

From Episode 2269, looking for help in differentiating the five people who appeared on Candy Cane Lane, and how best to add them to the list if they should be added at all.

From Episodes 1091-1095, the Hawaiian Vacation, looking for help with the names of all the humans who appeared if it is that some on the list I have at the moment are wrong.
Hope to hear from you soon.
