Does anyone remember this classic? I don't recall seeing it on Noggin, but I've seen it so many times and always got a big laugh out of it!

A little boy Muppet (voiced by Frank Oz) is going to teach us about "forwards" and "backwards" with a little help from his friends, including the green furred Grover, Little Jerry & The Monotones, and other assorted Muppets. He starts off with "fowards". Turning to the left, he calls out "FORWARDS!", prompting his friends to come running in forwards ("FOWARDS, YIPPE! YAY! YAHOO!"), running over the kid in the process. He gets up, turns to his right, calls out "BACKWARDS!" and the gang runs in backwards with the kid in the line of traffic again.

He gets back up and does forwards again. He turns to his left, shouts "FORWARDS", and the crowd comes running in forwards from the RIGHT side where they just came from, running over the unsuspecting kid from behind. He gets back up and as he catches his breath before doing "backwards" again, you can see the tops of his friends' heads in the background, sneaking back to the right side where they just came from. Kid turns to the left, "BACKWARDS!", and the gang comes running in backwards from the RIGHT side again. Before his fifth and final demonstration, the kid sees his gang sneaking from the left to the right again, and decides that he's not going to be fooled this time. So he turns to the right, shouts "FORWARDS!" and the gang comes running in from the LEFT!

Exhausted, the kid calls it quits. The bearded hippie Monotone comes in to confirm this...
Monotone: "No more?"
Kid: "No more."
Monotone: "Aw!" (he walks away)

One of the best in my book!

I thought that was a classic too. The Muppets that ran over that poor kid looked like some of Little Jerry and the Monotones and Grover.

I also remember they sometimes showed a Spanished dubbed version of it.

rememebr this old F & B film were the man is about to go out and an announcer says, pardon me sir. but do you know what forwards means? man says, forwards, of course evryone knows what forwards means and shows everyone what it means. then the annoucers asks, do you know what backwards mean? the man says, i'm a very busy man i don't have time for this kind of nonsense. announcer, then will show you what backwards means! he walks out of his apartment and everything is going backwards.
