I've only ever lived in Missouri. I have visited Montana though, a few years back. Aren't there parts of Montana with no speed limits? Or is my memory just screwing with me? It's been a few years.

Well you are almost correct. Montana did used to have no speed limit. But due to too many traffic fatalities they posted one. Now it's 75mph on interstate highways and 65mph on state highways. So your memory is correct. However, many people still treat it as there is no speed limit (that is until they see blue flashing lights in their review mirror LoL.)
