Christmas Eve On Sesame Street

I am watching CHRISTMAS EVE ON SESAME STREET on DVD and wondering: Are the "live" muppets featured just costumes from SESAME STREET LIVE? They look "just" like them.

Anyone know?

I don't have anything to back this up, but they DO look exactly like them, and they did have a Sesame Street On Ice program at roughly the same time....so it's a pretty safe bet.

I can't believe it took me so long to notice that....

I'm kinda slow.

Actually, according the the opening credits, they're skaters from "Holiday on Ice."
