The Chris Langham episode is entertaining. Langham has an offbeat sensibility -- he was the show's only British writer and had collaborated with Monty Python, and that's kind of the vibe that comes through -- and his scenes are weird and silly in a good, Muppet-y way.

It's sad and dismaying that he did what he did. It's most unfortunate for the sake of those children who were abused and exploited, to a lesser extent unfortunate for the effect it had on his life and career, and to the least extent unfortunate for us that we don't get to see his episode of TMS.

I don't know the whole story, but I do know that he's gone on record as having been sexually abused and exploited when he was a child, so as wrong as it was to begin with, it sounds like his possession of child pornography was his own misguided attempt at confronting his past when he should've gone through therapy/counseling instead (perhaps he did). I feel bad for what happened to him as a child, I feel sad that he couldn't break the cycle of abuse and exploitation, and I hope that he would emerge from this as a better person who would never again undertake such an action.

It seems that the episode with Chris Langham is indeed missing on Disney+, This might be related to the controversies surrounding him. Many classic Muppet Show episodes are unavailable for various reasons, and this case is no exception. It might be worth looking for it in other sources?Additionally, it would be great if we all expressed our interest in this episode on Disney's social media platforms. The more people talk about it, the higher the chance they'll add it in the future. It's worth fighting for our favorite episodes!

This is why I just stick to unauthorized uploads with instances like this.

That said, Chris was involved with child pornography so there’s no way his episode would surface officially now.

Guys, I think we've talked enough in this thread.

It was posted by a new member who probably meant well and wasn’t aware of the situation. But I do agree none the less.

Where did you see that? It sounds like you may be confusing the Chris Langham episode with Brookie Shields which was omitted because of music rights.

As was said on Friday, the Chris Langham episode is not currently on Disney+ due to his legal issues which led to his incarceration in 2007.
Still it is a shame TimeLife didn't release Chris's episode like they did with Brooke's. =(
