The Chris Langham episode is entertaining. Langham has an offbeat sensibility -- he was the show's only British writer and had collaborated with Monty Python, and that's kind of the vibe that comes through -- and his scenes are weird and silly in a good, Muppet-y way.

It's sad and dismaying that he did what he did. It's most unfortunate for the sake of those children who were abused and exploited, to a lesser extent unfortunate for the effect it had on his life and career, and to the least extent unfortunate for us that we don't get to see his episode of TMS.

I don't know the whole story, but I do know that he's gone on record as having been sexually abused and exploited when he was a child, so as wrong as it was to begin with, it sounds like his possession of child pornography was his own misguided attempt at confronting his past when he should've gone through therapy/counseling instead (perhaps he did). I feel bad for what happened to him as a child, I feel sad that he couldn't break the cycle of abuse and exploitation, and I hope that he would emerge from this as a better person who would never again undertake such an action.
