I wonder if Caroll Spinney illustrated those end credits. They kind of remind me of his drawing style.

If I saw Oscar walking around like that it would freak me out, because without his trashcan he seems naked.

I think the illustrations from the credits look like the illustrations from many illustrated books from the late-1970s (the various storybooks from the early-1970s seemed to have a messier illustration style).

Beautiful Day Monster has also been seen in full-body form, in the Sesame Street song Windy.
