Steve performed Kermit on SS occasionally from 1996-2001 and reprised him on Elmo's World: Frogs in 2009.

1979: Frank Oz stops working on the show Full Time and his charachters (Grover, Bert, Cookie) stop appearing in street scenes.
But remember the special Big Bird in China from 1983; Bert, Grover and Cookie appear on the street then for the big musical number about China before Big Bird and Barkley depart.

Mumford's last appearance was in a season finale from the early 2000s, though I forget the exact season/episode number; the story was a two-parter that focused on Big Bird getting shrunk by Mumford's botched magic. Anyone got the episode number and/or the season?

Anyone remember David's grandma? I remember she made a couple of cameos back then. I'm not sure what her real name is but she was interesting, I loved the way Sesame Street helped to promote family ties.
I certainly remember her, though I cannot recall the actress' name. I do know that she went on to play Cliff's mother on "The Cosby Show".

What about The Beetles, Little Jerry and The Monotones and Chris and The Alphabeats and all the other musical characters?
