Maybe this is just me but after watching Season 1 of TMS I really think that the wiggling ears added something to Fozzie. Does anybody else agree or diagree with me. think maybe they should have kept that.

I agree completly. Why would they drop the wiggling ears? I'd never seen them before Season 1, but if they were to bring back WIggling Ears on the modern puppet, I for one would be happy.

I also really can't adjust to his Season 1 voice...

I agree, Season 1 was great, and worth it to buy, but I think we'll get more quality episodes with Seasons 2-5, you have Beaker, Pigs in Space, the New Theme Song, Newer versions of Piggy/Fozzie/Gonzo/Floyd, and everyone has their normal voice

Actually, I caught Fozzie's ears still wiggling in the Raquel Welsh ep from season 3. Come to think of it, I haven't caught too much ear wiggling in any of the season 1 eps I have so far. I might catch it when I get the DVD and can watch more than just four episodes from that season.

The Muppet Morsels said that the mechanisim was removed because it made the puppet to heavy.

my guess is that they kept a Wiggling ear Fozzie around for the scenes they needed it for :embarrassed:

I love the ear wiggling. It's very cute. :embarrassed: It's like, he's insecure and thinks he's un-funny, so he wiggles his ears to make up for it.

I liked the ear wiggling. Who knows, one day someone here might be able to bring it back when they are working and building Muppet characters!

Sadly, I haven't seen the wiggling ears. I must not be very observant.
