Frank once said in an interview that the original script to TMTM wasn't going in the right direction, so Jim let him rewrite it as well as direct it. does anyone know what the changes were? I wonder what was different about it.

Maybe Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem's new gig outside of Pittsburgh became big and the band had doubts about coming back to Kermit because they were becoming rich and famous!

it might have not explored how far Kermit would go to save the show. If you watch the interveiw of Jim, he says that Frank wrote the diffrent things Kermit would do to try and sell the show.
