I received this news yesterday, as a Celtic Thunder fan, I was devastated at the news. He died on the 12th from a massive heart attack. Fans and members of the group are saddened and still in shock about George's death. You can look at the details on Celtic Thunder's website or look on Tumblr. Lots of fans like myself have posted things about him.

RIP George, we will miss you.
