I'm Suprised to see that George Lucas could let 6teen make star wars references.
Lucas lets in references... I think some stuff has to work through legal. I've seen Japanese cartoons reference Star Wars to the extent of drawing characters into the shows. In Dr. Slump, Dr. Mashihiro (I think that's right... he's Dr. Slump's Rival) has a secret laboratory shaped like R2D2's "head." And I'm in the middle of a Kinnikuman episode in which several characters from the Cantina are caricturized into the background.
