In Hal Ashby's movie "being there" is a snippet of the bird singing with buffy saint-marie a song "different ways". here are some lyrics for it:

does anyone remember which show it is from? any idea where I could buy it from in any format?

It's from episode #1037 which was shown on Noggin. Some of us have it.

BTW: There have been two different versions of that same song sung on recent episodes. The first, sung by Alan, is on the episode where Big Bird and María are baby sitting for a fellow bird family. The second is sung by Papa Bear as part of the three-part Season 34 finale, the birth of Curly Bear.
