Hi all, I mostly lurk around here, thanks to my friend Java and had a question(s) that she wasn't sure about.

What is the buddy list for and what does it do under the user control panel?

What is the ignore list for and what does it do under the user control panel?

When you're viewing a members profile and it has a section for group memberships, what does this do and where would you put this information into?

Thanks ahead of time for the answers.

Buddylist is a list for your favorite members. In the "Currently Active Members" list, it'll add a "+" next to their name.

The Ignore List is for members you hate, and when you add said members to your ignore list, it will automatically make that members' posts invisible from you.

Do people know if you have them on your ignore list, or is it private?

It's private. All it does is replace their posts with a message saying that, say, "Suchandsuch has posted here." - Then if you want to read the post you can click on the post-number at the top of the post and read it, or you can ignore them.
