Hello and Happy Holidays to all my dear friends here at Muppet Central!
Welcome to the newest feature of the Forums. It's that time of year! What time of year, you say? Why, the most WONDERFUL time of the year, of course! It's the holiday season! It's the time of the year where we get together with family and friends to celebrate peace, joy, giving and love. We eat lots of great food and sing songs about talking snowmen and roasting chestnuts. Some of us snuggle up in our beds and await for the sounds of prancing and pawing on our roofs and hope that the big jolly man eats the plate of cookies left by the fireplace (unless the googly-eyed monster gets to them first. Some of us light a menorah while celebrating a miraculous eight days. Many of us enjoy bundling up in multiple layers to the point wear we can't move our arms and run outside and roll around in the snow covered yard. However, one of the biggest traditions of the season (and one of my favorites) is wrapping ourselves in a blanket with a warm cup of hot chocolate or cider by a warm fire and watch all those great classic holiday movies and specials.
Each week leading up to Christmas, I will review a different holiday film or television special. Do not be fooled by the title of this thread. While the majority of the shows reviewed will be Christmas related, I'd to acknowledge other such holiday traditions of the season as well when I can. I am hoping this will spark some extra Holiday spirit in all your hearts this year.
I hope you will all enjoy this new feature of the Forums. Keep a look out for the first review soon!
Happy Holidays!
