honestly, I don't get criticism over beliefs, but like, conservatives criticizing liberals basically boils down to 'oh you're not like me? you're mentally ill then, then.' and leftist criticism of the right isn't really criticism of the right so much as it is of this unconscious mindset. But fr tho, we need more moderates and centrists in the world because this political scene is really polarizing. Sadly, to do that the conversation needs to be steered toward genuine matters of opinion, and not debating weather something is a human right or not (increasingly it is in fact a human right :[ but because these parties are so pitted against each other, we are incapable of considering someone else's point of view, or literally even practicing basic human empathy and it leads to things like the current ICE raids, or the scapegoating of queer people in today's 'political' atmosphere, and more people thinking it's cool to be a Yahtzee 'in support of Palestine', or the genuinely disgusting meme that has been made of Charlie Kirk's death, and generally abhorrent behavior like that.)

My editing of this article:

-talking about genuine environmental concerns is not a 'scolding'. Poll after poll after person who genuinely pays attention to the things their kids say shows that the recent generations tend to share these same concerns, and Disney was, intentionally or not, quite shrewd in doing this.
-the term 'woke' is insulting, and you as a journalist should not even think to type that in your article.
-supporting everyone's right to marry and benefit from marriage, as well as not supporting the conditions that conversion camps put kids through, does not show if your support religious freedom or not. As a queer, catholic man who is both deeply confident in my faith in God, and in my bisexuality, I should know.
-Why do I have to say again that critical language is not acceptable in journalism.
-the Muppets have always told crude sex jokes,
-Fox News is generally regarded as a news outlet of ill repute, favoring sensationalization, heavy bias, and on a few occasions, outright lies.
-Feminism is the 'radical' idea that women are people, and should be treated with the respect and dignity befitting a human person. It is not woke leftist propaganda to suggest this.
-The new Muppets franchise nuked because it was poorly done, not because it mirrors the changing sentiments of young people. Also, I just know you've tried to support Trump's tariffs, don't suggest you live in the real world.
-skipping over a ton of things because honestly this is all so stupid and you sound like hating liberals is your whole personality, 'Women' is spelled incorrectly.

I ended up cutting ties with a good handful of liberal MC users on here years later for this same toxic mindset I was describing in that post.

I moved on with my life. That’s all that matters. I don’t cut people out of my life for political views. I only do so with how they present themselves. Not worth the headache honestly.
